We support our great friends at OceansMicro in California with their mission to deepen the understanding of critical microorganisms in the world’s oceans in order to inspire conservation and promote science education. OceansMicro provides in-class educational programs via zoom for high school students. With a powerful microscope students can witness life in a single drop of seawater.
Some seaweeds are microscopic phytoplankton and are responsible for approximately 50% of the oxygen we breathe. Without them, life on Earth wouldn’t exist as we know it. They also absorb huge amount of CO2, helping to clean our atmosphere. Regenerative farming, rewilding and restoration are critical to the future of our blue planet.
